Ashley has been at the bedside for over 14 years; perfecting her role as a Personal Support Worker and fulfilling her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse.
Throughout her academic BScN career, Ashley achieved incredible success, including being awarded over 65 Academic Scholarships and Bursaries and graduating with Honours and the title of ‘Great Distinction’ (academic perfection) with a GPA above 95%. Ashley eagerly shared her strategies with her nursing peers as a peer tutor. Peer tutoring ignited Ashley’s passion and ability for teaching and for helping other students master complex content in unique and effective ways. Ashley is a gifted master of nursing content, utilizing this in her approach to teaching nursing students and in caring for patients as a Registered Nurse. Ashley has a passion for Emergency Nursing, as well as Nursing Research, and has recently accepted a full time Professor of Nursing position while she pursues her Master’s Degree.

Linda has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years; spending much of this time in a large urban centre working in acute care, critical care, public health and education.
Linda has worked as a Staff Nurse, Public Health Nurse, Consultant, Supervisor and now, Professor of nursing students. After completing her RN Diploma she attended Western University for her BScN and the University of Toronto for her Masters of Education. Linda is currently pursuing her PhD with a focus on “shame coping responses among the interprofessional
team”. Linda feels that her professional journey led her to her current passion where, for the last 10 years, she has believed in nursing students before they believe in themselves. Linda’s love of nursing is demonstrated through the care she shows to each nursing student, inspiring those taught by her to not give up on their dreams.
