Linda MacDougall

RN, BScN, MEd, PhD (c), Professor of Nursing

Linda has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years; spending much of this time in a large urban centre working in acute care, critical care, public health and education.

Linda has worked as a Staff Nurse, Public Health Nurse, Consultant, Supervisor and now, Professor of nursing students. After completing her RN Diploma she attended Western University for her BScN and the University of Toronto for her Masters of Education. Linda is currently pursuing her PhD with a focus on “shame coping responses among the interprofessional
team”. Linda feels that her professional journey led her to her current passion where, for the last 10 years, she has believed in nursing students before they believe in themselves. Linda’s love of nursing is demonstrated through the care she shows to each nursing student, inspiring those taught by her to not give up on their dreams.
